I will try to ship all NON-LIVE (HONEY, WOODEN WARE, ETC)) items within 14 BUSINESS DAYS of Order. this may be changed due to supply availability or weather conditions in Forest, Ohio. QUEEN BEES will be shipped MONDAY or Tuesday ONLY, later shipments MAY not make the client's address due to flights, trucking, etc., and Saturday delivery may not be possible to some areas. I do not want the Queen Bees to be at a P.O. or warehouse for a weekend as it could result in their dead arrival to my Clients. Queens will be shipped on AVAILABILITY & WEATHER as soon as possible after the order is placed. Delays are possible, due to weather or conditions beyond my control or acts of God. All efforts will be made to assure prompt service! I use The United States Postal Service (U.S.P.S.) for Queen Bees US Post office WILL NOT insure Queens. US Postal regulation ( 609 sec 4.3 k) For the Post Office Should they arrive dead or damaged within the allowed shipping times, they will not cover the cost of replacement and shipping unfortunately. (601.9.0.37) (bees) Also, as per postal regulations 114.3.1, 414.3.0 and 604.9.2.4 queen bees and live animals are EXEMPT from the express mail guarantee of next day/ 2nd day guarantee, TO PROTECT THE LIVE ANIMALS when shipping. ONLY QUEEN BEES CAN BE SHIPPED BY AIR OR EXPRESS MAIL! I ONLY USE US POSTAL SERVICE EXPRESS MAIL FOR QUEEN BEES! NO UPS. We can help you file a claim against the USPS for dead/lost , but it is the problem of the shipping company as once it leaves our hands we CANNOT CONTROL how they handle the bees in shipping! However Should they arrive dead or damaged they will not cover the cost of replacement & shipping unfortunately. I DO NOT use PRIORITY MAIL for queen bees. as it can take 7 days or longer and queens will die and the USPS will NOT refund me or you any money, so we both lose. POKING A HOLE IN THE CANDY, OPENING THE OTHER CORKED END TO DIRECT RELEASE THE QUEEN, OR OTHER ACTS THAT RESULT IN THE QUEEN BEE'S DEATH, INCLUDING NON-ACCEPTANCE BY THE COLONY, ARE NOT COVERED BY MY REFUND/CREDIT POLICY. DEAD OR DAMAGED FREIGHT:
All merchandise is shipped F.O.B. Shipping Point ( Ada or Forest, Ohio for US Postal service). (UPS Forest, Ohio) This legal term simply means that all merchandise becomes your property as soon as we give it to the freight carrier. The freight carrier is responsible for the complete and safe delivery of your merchandise. It is your responsibility to thoroughly inspect the merchandise when it is delivered. If the freight carrier fails to deliver your merchandise in good condition, (equipment ect. and / or Queen Bees or Nucs) If applicable it is your responsibility to file a damage or loss claim with the freight carrier. There are No exceptions To this rule!
PHOTOS REQUIRED TO PROVE DAMAGED GOODS AND SIGNATURE or AFFIDAVIT FROM DELIVERY PERSON AS PROOF OF LOSS!, NOT JUST SOMEONE'S WORD!! THIS IS TO PREVENT FRAUD WHICH WILL MAKE EVERYTHING COST MORE!
REFUND POLICY: NO REFUNDS ON NUCS AFTER PACKAGE HAS BEEN PURCHASED BY US AND / OR INSTALLED into NUC BOX as we have to eat the cost since bees are already ordered and we only order a certain number each year and must pay in advance at our ordering time.
There is a $20.00 fee for Refund requests for already processed orders /and or cancelled orders that are not NUC colonies
!ALL REFUND REQUESTS MUST BE IN EMAIL FORM! NOT A PHONE CALL AS SADLY FRAUD IS OCCURRING WHERE THE CLIENT GETS A REFUND AND THEN GETS FREE QUEENS ETC., BY CALLING AND SAYING SHIP MY ORDER! THIS POLICY PREVENTS "DOUBLE DIPPING" AS WELL AS PROOF OF REQUEST! THANK YOU!
Due to the fact I get charged by the bank for fees for the service of offering Credit card payment service. I am SORRY I have to add the fees, but the banks add them for every transaction and take a percentage also. This adds up substantially for my small business If you still wish a refund the fee will be deducted, and a refund request will be sent to my credit card processor to be credited back to your account in the next billing cycle, by the bank's card processor, (usually a 30 day period, per their billing cycle) as this is how they bill me for charges/fees per month.
CREDIT/ORDER HOLD POLICY If you prefer a credit on your account here with me (to hold a queen or products that you ordered) for the following month up to year, This can also be done also! THIS WILL SAVE YOU MONEY AND REFUND FEES AS WELL AS GET YOU PRIORITY SERVICE ON QUEENS WHEN AVAILABLE! However, the hold will be for a year and it is your responsibility to let me know when you need the held order shipped! Orders not shipped after 1 yr hold, will be forfeited!
